ARMED FORCES VETERANS
JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF CAMARADERIE
1st Wednesday of the month starting from 3rd April
6pm onwards. British Legion Club 14 Station Hill, Hayes, Bromley, BR2 7DJ
Our club has supported the Armed Forces Family for 90 years. As our Armed Forces (and our veteran population) has got smaller the club has changed and adapted.
However, we do still have members who are part of the Armed Forces Family, and the Borough of Bromley has the largest concentration of Veterans of all of the London Boroughs with over 6,500 people having served in our regular or reserve forces.
To reinforce our continuing support, we are launching a monthly night where serving members and veterans of the Armed Forces and their partners will be especially welcome.
Whether you are a member or not, if you served, we hope that you will join us.
The idea is just to meet up, buy a drink, and indulge in some good old military banter.
We hope to see old friends meeting up, new friendships being made, and mutual support for our Armed Forces Community.
Whether it is camaraderie, banter or simply returning to the tribe you can be sure of a warm welcome.
Two of our veteran members Steve Palmer (Ex Army) and Graham Orr (Ex Royal Navy) will be at the club to make sure that you are welcomed, just ask for them when you arrive.
If you are a club member who knows a veteran, whether a member of the club or not, please let them know about these evenings.
